FEBRUARY 2007:

Updates:

4 live reviews added. They're in Dutch, so here are some highlights:
- One of the best Dutch bands I've ever seen;
- It's loud, it's tight, it's vicious, and it's just fu-ck-ing good noise.
- For Gone Bald, performing a compostion is just as refined as playing mikado with tree trunks. It's just a side issue that spectators are being crushed by the trees.
Kunstgebit playlists for 2006 are complete, and season 2007 has been opened.
Note for editor, not for publication: Kunstgebit is a weekly radioshow, hosted by Gone Bald's Razorblade Jr. It features underground hits, concerts and interviews, and an update of shows in the city of Amsterdam and beyond. It used to be broadcasted on air by the infamous Radio 100. Nowadays it's hosted on DFM.nu, and available for everybody with an internet connection.

More of Wouter Cooman's anniversary photo's including Petrified Host, Wolfling and Brown vs Brown are here.

NOVEMBER 2006:
We're very happy to announce our 12,5 year anniversary party. We have a great venue with two stages and a big list full of cool bands, food and artists, just the way we like it.

We're being filmed by a team from the Amsterdam Film Academy. They're shooting a documentary on us. They did pre-production at the gig we did in Occii last week and they'll shoot the final live footage in Zaal 100.

And, since we didn't find the right label to release our new album yet, we kept ourselves busy with the development of new merch: Check out our great new shirts, underpants, g-strings and ovenmittens here!

SUMMER UPDATE
Razorblade got his beard and hair cut in Zagreb. He grew it all winter to keep warm.

Stanley celebrated his birthday and got presents like a tie and a nodding dog for in his car. He'll have a gig with his solo project on september 15. He didn't travel this summer because he's moving soon.

Bubba played guitar on a friends' birthday with his band Boutros Bubba. They're on MySpace and they have a website that has almost nothing on it. It doesn't even seem to work. They're playing on a Subbacultcha night on august 28. Bubba was supposed to go to the Belgian Ardennes last weekend, but they didn't go in the end because the weather sucked so bad.

Gone Bald is working on the release of the next album. You can listen to two songs from the album in the audio section. We have a gig in Amsterdam.
-------

JUNE 2006:
We're done mixing the new album. Definately worth mentioning that Mr. Bele took the plane from Zagreb again to come mix it with us. It's being mastered right now by the infamous Zlaja.

We're proud to announce two exhibitions on the work of Igor "Hof" Hofbauer on the biggest Comic Art Fair of Northern-Europe, in Haarlem, NL.
Galerie ArtSite will exhibit posters, originals for posters, drawings in ink and paint until June 17. In Patronaat Cafe, Hof's posters for rockbands will form the perfect surrounding for gigs of some undergroundbands including Plan Kruutntoone. All this on June 3and 4.

We're back home from our tour. A lot of thank you's to everybody who helped us out, and in particular Gentle Veincut, Josip and his wife, Dennis, Miriam & Lutsu and Sasho!
See some tourphoto's here.

We're going back to the studio to mix our new album very soon.

APRIL 2006:
We're working on a tour and it's working out good. Check the shows section for dates.

Razorblade Jr is electable again for this award called "Duiveltje". It's a prize for best musician and Razorblade is on the shortlist to be voted NL's best guitarplayer. More info here.

MARCH 2006:

2. Check out a 3voor12 video documentary on the making of the Sonic Youth Retro-Retry album EVOL. It features live material of a.o. Gone Bald. The Gone Bald bit is at 13:30, it's fun! It's HERE (Don't forget to push the Streaming Video icon, you know what I mean?). Read here what this whole Sonic Youth / EVOL-thing was all about.

3. We're on MySpace. Check it out and be our friend, we love you! You can check out four songs taken off our last CD there.

FEB 2006:
We've just returned from 5 days of recording in the awesome Sing Sing Studio's. Mr. Bele, usually recording and playing bass in Peach Pit, flew over from Zagreb to help us produce the sound we want. In april, we'll be there for three more days to mix the thing. Makazoruki's Skuso stopped by and pleasured us with some great guest vocals. We'll be playing at Makazoruki's cd presentation on saturday the 25th of March @ De Nieuwe Anita A'dam, 20:00!
